Based on the Minister of National Education Decree No. 006 of 2008 on Guidelines for Admission of New Candidate in State Universities and Regulation Director General of Higher Education Department of Education No.18/DIKTI/Kep/2008 dated March 28, 2008 of the National Selection Sign State University, The Rector of State Universities and the Director General of Higher Education Department of Education held a selection of new candidates who are together at the national level in the form of the National Selection Sign State University (SNMPTN) under the coordination and responsibility of the Rector Assembly Indonesian State Universities (MRPTNI).

National Selection Activities State University is a selection of student candidates to enter the State University at the National level with the pattern of written test and test specific skills for specific study programs. The implementation of this selection is carried out by a Central Committee which was formed by the Ministry of National Education of Indonesia and located in cities where strategically located State University.
Written test held in the framework of the National Selection of State Universities will be implemented simultaneously and integrated at the clock and the same day, with about the same in the various State Universities in Indonesia, so that participants are expected to choose the location closest to the implementation of these selection events. An exam is not taken into consideration in the selection process and the determination of a prospective student graduation in the college of choice.

SNMPTN REQUIREMENTS
A. Selection:
1. Passed National Exam SMA / MA / SMK / MAK or the equivalent in 2008, 2009 and 2010.
2. For graduate applicants must submit a package of C copies the last three years report card.
3. Having adequate health care so as not to interfere with the smooth process of teaching and learning in Higher Education.
4. Not color blind to certain courses.
B. Admission:
Passed National Exam, passed SNMPTN 2010, and healthy.
SNMPTN is the only selection patterns conducted jointly by the State Universities in one integrated system using about the same or equivalent and be held simultaneously. 2010 SNMPTN still conducted in the spirit to expand access to communities throughout Indonesia to get into college. To ensure the credibility of the selection, 2010 SNMPTN Committee are working hard to improve the quality of implementation. One form of improvement and perfection of the implementation mechanism is applied SNMPTN 2010 online registration system for the first time. In general, important information about the implementation SNMPTN Year 2010 is as follows:

2010 SNMPTN written test will be conducted on Wednesday, June 16, 2010 for the type of examinations and tests of Academic Potential Test Basic Studies Division, and on Thursday, June 17, 2010 for the type of exam Study Field Test and Test Area Science Social Studies. Meanwhile, Examination and Skills Test will be held on Friday and Saturday, on 18 and 19 June 2010.

Exam results announced in 2010 that SNMPTN website can be accessed on Saturday, July 17, 2010 starting at 00:00 pm.
2. Registration SNMPTN 2010
Registration Time
Registration conducted online through the internet so it can be done from any starting date of May 2, 2010 at 08.00 pm to May 31, 2010 at 16:00 pm. Registration follow-up of on-line reopened on 10-12 May 2010 held for high school graduates / MA / SMK / MAK who follow UN replications.
Admission Requirements
Requirements for 2010 examinees were SNMPTN Passed Exam Education and Examination Unit of the National High School / MA / SMK / MAK or equivalent in 2008, 2009 and 2010, healthy, and not color blind to certain courses. While college acceptance requirements are passed the test and Examination Unit of the National Education, graduated 2010 SNMPTN, healthy and meet other requirements specified by PTN each recipient.
How to Apply
In general, procedures for the registration online SNMPTN 2010 is as follows:
1.
Prospective participants in the examination fee through a window BANK MANDIRI / ATM / Internet Banking.
2.
After payment, applicants will receive proof of payment which includes: (a) Number of Identity applicants, and (b) PIN SNMPTN all 16 characters. Identification Number and PIN SNMPTN This is strictly confidential and should not be disclosed to others.
3.
Prospective participants to register online (via Internet) by visiting the website address SNMPTN 2010.
4.
After registering online, applicants will receive a Proof of Registration card which has been spiked with the seal and was signed as a valid identification card SNMPTN 2010 participants who have taken the exam.
5.
Examinees can choose the study program in each State Universities outside the area where the contestants take. The place is not the test acceptance criteria, so that examinees do not have to take the test at the study program or the State Universities to be chosen. Participants can choose the desired test location.
Registration Fee
SNMPTN 2010 registration fees have not changed compared SNMPTN of Rp 2009. 150.000, - for the test group IPA / IPS and Rp. 175.000, - for the IPC test.
